Enjoying the sour fruits of lower expectations

Change of benchmarks may deliver understanding of tourism developments so as to re-check health of Cyprus tourism and its competitiveness. It appears the logical place to start is the Mediterranean: Why is it that European and international appeal is maintained at non mass tourism destinations?  Aiming to meet the numbers is the equivalent of lower expectations and will have deeper implications than those anticipated by the Cyprus Hoteliers Association and the ministry of commerce, industry and tourism.
